Microsoft allows you to take five attempts per year. The Microsoft exam SC-400 exam retake policy: Microsoft Protection Administrator
A candidate who fails to pass the exam on the first try must wait 24 hours before attempting to retake it.
Candidats who fail to clear the exam the first time must wait at least 14 days before attempting the third exam.
