Riverbed Certified Solutions Associate NPM Certification Overview and Benefits

Riverbed Certified Solutions Associate Network Performance Management (RCSANPM) is designed to validate pre-sales engineers’ and technical professionals’ knowledge in Riverbed solutions theory and configuration. It also allows them to perform demos and proof-of-concepts in customer networks.

Riverbed Certified Solutions Associate NPM certificate is given to individuals who have demonstrated advanced knowledge and experience using the Riverbed product range. RCSA-NPMs will have completed Riverbed approved training classes such as the NPM200 performance monitoring essentials and APM200 application performance monitoring essentials courses. They will also have hands-on experience in the deployment, troubleshooting and maintenance of Riverbed SteelCentral products within small, medium, or large organizations. Although there are no requirements for the exam, candidates who have completed Riverbed authorized training classes and have had at least three months of experience with SteelCentral products will have a much higher chance of passing it.
Steps to Become an RCSA-NPM
Building theoretical knowledge is the easiest way to learn how to deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot the Riverbed product suite. Before you attempt to take the exam, make sure you have reviewed the RCSA-NPM Blueprint, Study References, and are familiar with all topics.
Practical Experience. While theoretical knowledge is helpful, practical knowledge will help you pass the exam. It is difficult to give an exact amount of experience because each deployment is different. We recommend that partners and resellers perform at least five deployments in a variety technologies before taking the exam. Customers and partners can benefit from at least three months of hands-on experience in a production environment.
