We also set deadlines and schedules to prepare for our exams, so we indirectly do project management every day.

The budget is set by project managers and then they stick to it. We do the same. Even children make budgets and spend money as per their budget. The same goes for home budgets, home renovation budgets, and the one that is most loved by our habits, the kitchen budgets. All of this is part of project management.
