Overview
The previous blog, An Overview Of Amazon Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence Services – Part 1, covered AWS Machine Learning & Artificial services. But, the most important thing about AI is that we only learned about Core AI services. The next blog will focus on AWS AI Specialised Services. Specialized Services are services that have been established for a specific purpose, or used cases that were created for a particular mission.

The AWS AI Specialized Service division is shown in the above figure. It is divided into five categories: Healthcare and Industrial, Search, Code + DevOps and Business Processes.
Let’s go through them all and learn more about AWS AI Specialized Service.
a. Healthcare
Amazon HealthLake – Amazon HealthLake (The Health Insurance Portability and Account Act) compliant cloud service that allows clients to store, process, query and analyze FHIR (Fast Health Interoperability Resources),-formatted data in an efficient way.
Amazon Comprehend Med – Amazon Comprehend Med uses natural language processing to detect useful data in unstructured medical literature. Amazon ComprehendMedical can detect medical conditions, drugs, anatomy, Protected Health Information (PHI), test results, and procedures in medical literature.
Amazon Transcribe Medical – Amazon Transcribe Medical (ASR) is a service that allows medical professionals to transcribe medical-related speech, such as physician-dictated notes or drug safety monitoring. Amazon Transcribe Medical (batch) allows you to transcribe an uploaded file or live streaming (through a microphone).
b. Industrial
Amazon Monitron – Amazon Monitron, a machine-learning-based end-to–end condition monitoring service, detects emerging abnormalities within machinery. This allows you to create a proactive maintenance plan and minimize production lost due to unscheduled downtime. Amazon Monitron includes sensors that collect temperature and vibration data, gateways which continuously send information to AWS Cloud, as well as an app that allows for system setup, analytics and alerting, while monitoring equipment conditions.
Amazon Lookout for Equipment Machine Learning is used by Amazon Lookout for Equipment in order to detect unusual behavior in your equipment and identify potential issues. An industrial asset can be used to describe any piece or equipment.
Amazon Lookout for Vision – Amazon Lookout for Vision is a tool that can detect visual faults in industrial products. It uses computer vision to detect missing parts in industrial products, vehicle damage, manufacturing line anomalies and small faults in silicon wafers.
Search
Amazon Kendra – Amazon Kendra is a highly accurate and sophisticated search engine that uses natural-language processing and efficient search algorithm to allow your users to search both structured and unstructured material. It allows users to feel like they are dealing with an expert person by returning detailed answers to their questions. It is scalable and can meet performance requirements. It is also deeply connected to other Amazon services such as S3 and Lex. It even offers enterprise-grade security.
d. Code +DevOps
Amazon CodeGuru – Amazon CodeGuru makes intelligent recommendations to improve the quality of code and find the most important lines of code within an application. The Amazon CodeG
